📚 Team News: Continuing to Grow and Learn Together

We’ve all been working hard to expand our knowledge in children’s development and learning. Here’s a quick update on what some of the team have been up to:

  • Saida and Dlnya have completed their Maths Champions programme. They attended courses and seminars with brilliant tutors from the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) and the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF). The EEF is an independent charity focused on improving education outcomes, and we were thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with such fantastic resources!

  • Lucianna is on the final leg of completing the NPQEYL (National Professional Qualification in Early Years Leadership), a DfE course designed for managers and leaders in Early Years. She has also embarked on an exciting new journey to complete a Level 7 Early Years Senior Leader (EYSL), which will run until mid-2027. Please join us in wishing her the best of luck as she continues to grow, develop her expertise, and further enhance her leadership skills.

  • Becky attended numerous SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) trainings during the Autumn term and has gained valuable knowledge to continue supporting the children in her care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for all.

  • Channah will be starting the Think Equal Programme, which focuses on enhancing children’s emotional wellbeing and their understanding of self-regulation. The programme explores how to improve children’s lives through emotional understanding and support, helping them develop empathy, resilience, and positive relationships. It also celebrates differences, promoting inclusivity and helping children appreciate and respect the unique qualities of themselves and others.

  • Fatima is working incredibly hard towards her Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. She is gaining a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge, which she is using to enhance the children’s experiences at nursery. Fatima will also be adding extra support to the team by becoming the Buddy Key Person for the 2-year-old group, ensuring every child receives guidance, care, and encouragement.

  • Dlnya has successfully completed her Level 3 Early Years SENCo training. Following this achievement, she will continue to support Lucianna in her role as Deputy SENCo, helping to ensure consistent, high-quality support for children with additional needs. Dlnya will work closely with the team and families to promote inclusion, early intervention, and positive outcomes for all children.

We are incredibly proud of the team and the dedication they show to continuous professional development! Their passion for learning and growing is making a real difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
