Lucianna Picetskei – Nursery Manager / DSL / EYPS / SENCo / Fire Marshall / First Aider

Lucianna holds Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), a Level 6 qualification, and has excellent knowledge of childcare, learning and development. She is also the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at Sticky Faces Nursery, where she ensures that all children receive the support and protection they need in a safe and nurturing environment. Lucianna has completed the National Professional Qualification in Early Years Leadership (NPQEYL) with the Department for Education (DfE), further strengthening her leadership skills and professional practice. She has now begun the Level 7 Early Years Senior Leader qualification, continuing her commitment to high-quality early years education and leadership development.

“I have worked in early years for over 20 years and joined Sticky Faces Nursery in March 2023. I’m passionate about early childhood education and strive to give children the tools they need to become resilient, independent and enthusiastic learners. I am also trained and experienced in supporting young children and their families with additional needs. As a DSL, I have a duty to protect and safeguard children in our nursery and promote a safe and happy environment for everyone.”

Dlnya Al-Talabani – Deputy Manager / DSL / Early Years Educator / Deputy SENCo / Fire Marshall / First Aider

Dlnya is qualified to Level 3 Early Years Educator and has been at Sticky Faces Nursery since 2019 when she joined the setting as a volunteer! She is passionate, fun and a super role model.  Dlnya holds a Paediatric first aid and is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). She has excellent bonds with parents and the children in the setting and is a great communicator. Dlnya is our ‘can do’ lady in the setting and is always coming up with new ideas and activities that the children love!

“I have been working in early childhood education for over 5 years in the UK and I really enjoy having fun with children and creating happy memories with them. I also like being super creative and having attention to detail and bringing that ‘wow’ factor to our nursery through exciting activities, play and games. I enjoy shopping and spending time with my daughter in my spare time.”

Saida Haydar – Third in Charge / DSL / Early Years Educator / First Aider

Saida is our full-time, qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator, leading our preschool and school readiness programme for children transitioning to school next year. She joined Sticky Faces Nursery in October 2023 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in safeguarding children and first aid, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all. As Third in Charge, Saida supports the management team with day-to-day tasks and contributing to the smooth running of the nursery. She is also a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), bringing extensive knowledge in safeguarding to her role.

“I really enjoy working with children and watching them develop and learn new skills. I am passionate about helping them, seeing them happy, and experiencing the joy on their faces when they succeed. I love leading the preschool and school readiness programme and use my expertise in safeguarding and first aid to create a safe and nurturing environment. As Third in Charge and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), I support the management team and bring extensive knowledge in safeguarding. I truly enjoy working with children, watching them grow, and celebrating their achievements.”

Katie

Katie Madden – Early Years Educator / First Aider

Katie is a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator who brings extensive knowledge and valuable expertise to support children’s learning and development. She joined the Sticky Faces family in January 2025 and leads the 2-year-old group, ensuring they enjoy enriching learning opportunities and memorable experiences in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Katie’s passion for early years education, combined with her commitment to creating a nurturing space, ensures that every child feels valued and supported as they grow and thrive. As a mum of three children—one already attending school and twins who are part of our nursery—Katie brings a personal understanding of the joys and challenges of early childhood, enriching her ability to connect with children and families.

Cynthia Duval –  Early Years Educator / EYPS / First Aider

Cynthia is very knowledgeable in early years education and holds Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), a Level 6 qualification. She joined the Sticky Faces family in June 2026 and is both highly professional and friendly. With over 20 years of experience working with children, Cynthia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the nursery. She also holds a degree in Psychology and has extensive experience supporting children with SEND, including providing 1:1 support and implementing targeted strategies and interventions to help children reach their full potential. Cynthia loves working with our preschoolers and is passionate about education. She enjoys creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development across all areas of the Early Years curriculum.

Rebecca Laming – Trainee Level 3 Early Years Educator / First Aider / SEND Support Worker

Becky has been a part of the Sticky Faces Nursery team since March 2023 as our SEND Support Worker. She is a fun-loving and bubbly character who actively engages in the children’s learning and celebrates their achievements with them. Becky has started a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship and has been applying all her new learning in practice at the nursery.

“I started working with young children over 20 years ago but took a career break to become a mother of three, whom I absolutely love. I am now back at work and extremely excited to be pursuing a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. I also support children with special educational needs, helping them thrive and learn in an inclusive and nurturing environment.”

Fatima

Fatima Omer – Trainee Level 3 Early Years Educator / First Aider

Fatima’s journey with us began as a dedicated mum to one of our children. Now that her little one has started school, we are delighted to have Fatima in our team as a Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE) Apprentice. Her firsthand experience as a parent brings valuable insight and a personal touch to her new role. We’re excited to see the wonderful contributions she makes to our Sticky Faces family.

“I’m excited to start my journey with Sticky Faces! I first joined the team as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice in May 2024 and am now thrilled to continue as a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice. My connection with the nursery began as a parent, and now that my child is in school, I’m eager to dive into this role. I’ve always had a passion for early years education and look forward to supporting and inspiring young learners. I’m excited to contribute to our nursery’s nurturing environment and work with such a fantastic team.”

Zamira Nasiri – Volunteer Nursery Practitioner  / First Aider

Zamira joined our nursery in March 2026 and has already become a valued member of the team. She has four children, and her youngest currently attends our nursery. We are delighted that Zamira will be progressing into a Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE) Apprenticeship with us and we look forward to the wonderful contributions she will continue to make to our Sticky Faces family. Her firsthand experience as a parent brings valuable insight and a personal touch to her role!
